The sins of the University of Wisconsin – Madison marching band, according to the JS, include singing a cadence that includes the word vagina, placing a condom on a banana and a game involving alcohol in which some band members formed a “hamster cage” for other students using torn up pages of phone books.
Much of the behavior described in the story was immature, but singing a cadence that includes the correct name of one piece of a woman’s anatomy does not seem to be suspension-worthy.
Once again and all together, let’s sing that cadence: “‘Vagina’ is not a dirty word.”
