Vukmir vs Sullivan

Well, this should be interesting. Wauwatosa’s Leah Vukmir, a very conservative Republican, will take on Wauwatosa’s Jim Sullivan, a very moderate Democrat, for Sullivan’s 5th District Senate seat, according to wispolitics.com.

It’s good that Vukmir is announcing now. Greater Vukmir visibility can only be good for Sullivan.

  1. It’s good that Vukmir is announcing now. Greater Vukmir visibility can only be good for Sullivan. Yes. She’s a stooge for C. Sykes and his ilk. I hope Sullivan survives this.

  2. I can’ understand how anyone would waste a vote on Vukmir. She doesn’t think for the people but instead makes choices based solely upon what she wants and what she believes. Her inability to to even say for the testimony in the Medical Marijuana issue should speak to that fact for anyone who is in the least bit American. Let alone anyone how has the least bit of compassion for the sick citizens of the state. It should be the desire of any and all elected official to at the very least take the moment to investigate each and every topic presented. In Rep Vukmir’s case though she has not. In fact her stance of having not changed her view since the last time a similar issue was presented says loud and clear that her Ideals are the only concern in her mind. I would think that fellow citizens would have the where with all to realize that if someone is not even ready to be open to discussion on any topic be it Medical use of Marijuana or Curbing your dog then there is quite a possibility that she will do the same for anything. So even if you think that the issue doesn’t concern you. Maybe you are not sick. Maybe you are fortunate not to know a cancer patient. But the NExt issue could be near and true to your heart and what will you get ? Surly nothing but a verbal assault and a back turned as she walks out of the assembly. If you have even the slightest care or compassion as it has become commonly called for your fellow citizens you would not vote for Vukmir or at the very least pick up the phone to call in your opinion on the issue.

  3. Leah cares about human life and defends it. Sullivan supported the Confirmation of UW-Hospital and Clinics Board Member, Roger Axtell of Janesville, who voted in support of barbaric Late-Term Abortions on viable 22-week old babies. His support of late term abortion is evidence that he votes for what he wants, and not for what most American’s know to be true. Abortion is murder. How do we know? We know because babies that are not aborted, are born everyday, to people who, unlike Sullivan, value human life.

Leah has a nursing background, and has care and compassion for human life that sets her far apart from Sullivan, who views human life as something to be destroyed by his legislative authority. His term will soon be over, thank God!!

So, “If you have any care or compassion”, defend the right to life, and support candidates who will also defend life, because those who seek to destroy human life, may one day decide that YOUR life is not valuable, as well, and then suddenly, you will recognize the significance of legislators who have enough care and compassion, that they are willing to defend even the most vulnerable of all of us.

  4. Leah Vukmir’s “Right to Birth” politics would deny sexual assault victims recognized medical protocols and treatments. She proudly wears the endorsement of Pro-Birth (sorry, that’s Pro-Life) Wisconsin which is opposed to any form of contraception which destroys a fertilized embryo prior to implantation. This includes most forms of oral contraceptions, IUD’s, and the aforementioned medical treatments to prevent implanation.

In fact, Pro-Birth Wisconsin is opposed to any type of contraception, including barrier methods.

  5. Leah Vukmir has not been a nurse for well over a decade. She has no experience as a nurse with benefits of medical cannabis. She rejects science and logic, yet embraces Nazi-like dedication against the will of the people she was meant to represent. Remember Leah Vukmir the State Assembly Rep, 2009′s worst liked legislator? She is 2010′s worst candidate for State Senate!!
