A resident of the 300 block of N. Story Pkwy. arrived home about 12:30 p.m. Friday to find two people in house burglarizing it, according to Ald Michael Murphy.

The man did not confront the two — a man and a woman — but alerted police, Murphy said. The two escaped with some jewelry.

Murphy said they were driving a van with Louisiana license plates.
