Traffic cops, severely lacking earlier in the season, worked at N. Story Pkwy. and W. Bluemound Rd. during the big Cubs series. There were still long lines of cars waiting to get into Miller Park, but they kept moving. That was not the case earlier in the season.
Yeah it’s nice to have traffic control, but when I went by that corner all I saw was five cops sitting around on their Harley’s talking and sucking up the overtime. Yes it’s all overtime, just add it to the other $15 million on the OT budget for the police while Fire, Libraries and transit are being cut. I’m sure some of it is reimbursed by the Brewers, but OT is OT. John
